I actually eat about 1800-2000 calories a day and burn about 500; I have not lost 1 lb!I eat healthy as well; fruits, veggies, nuts, lean meat (no greasy, fried foods), brown rice, baked chips if I must etc.If I eat less I get fatigued no matter what I do =[ SO how can I lose the weight?

Title: I eat the same amount but exercise more (no weight loss?!!)? Post by: ashlynn18 on May 25, 2008, 08:08:10 AM Well to lose weight you need to cut back on your food intake a little bit. I would say eat 1500 calories. I know at first you may feel like your not eating enough but your body will soon adjust. Also it could be your not drinking enough water. Water is the key to weight loss. You may be getting fatigued during your workouts from not enough water. You should be drinking at least 80 ounces a day. I know it may sound like a lot but it really isnt. If you need some added flavor mix it with some crystal light. But seriously, the water is key. I know from experience on the days I dont drink enough i feel like I have no energy to work out. Try it and i bet in around 2 weeks youll start seeing results. There is so many benefits, even your skin will begin to glow! Here are some more tips eat theselean meats such as chicken and turkey that is baked or grilled not friedpower bars with low sugarbran buds(fiber helps with digestion and aids in weight loss)applesSalsa(speeds up metabolism and helps fight cravings)egg white (limit yolks)whole grain or whole wheat bread and brown rice(NO WHITE!)Green tea also speeds up metabolismdont eat past 7 at nightDrink 16 ounces of water as soon as you wake up in the morning this boosts energy and metbolismAs far as exercise goes do 1 hour of cardio a day 5 to 6 times a week. This includes but is not limited to running, speed walking, swimming, elliptical. Go to a gym and do resistance training 3 times a week or find some good list of exercises on the internet that can be done easily at home. You CAN do it. KEep telling yourself that. Also dont forget it is ok to indulge every once in a while. Studies prove that every once in a while can be a boost to the metabolism!I wish you the best of luck on your weight loss journey!

Title: I eat the same amount but exercise more (no weight loss?!!)? Post by: SarahG on May 26, 2008, 03:38:55 AM If you aren't doing light weights, add that to your fitness program. Light weights combined with running really helped me lose a lot of weight. Plus I took a natural supplement (you be slim) that has fucoxanthin (seaweed) and 4 other thermogenic ingredients in it to help speed things up. I also did cut out all pasta/breads for 3 weeks and that REALLY helped. I now eat some breads but not as much as before.Good luck!Sarah G.
