I went through a lot finding a folding chair that would hold my fat ass and still be comfortable. Most folding chairs seem to only hold up to 250 pounds or so. Then I came across the Maxx Daddy from Koolest Products. I thought I had finally found what i was looking for. This folding chair has 2 layers of 600 denier polyester quilted fabric for extra padding, support, and comfort. The chair also has a New High Tensile steel frame which the company claims has been static weight tested to 1400 Pounds. Further claims by the company include the ability to hold up to 400 pounds per arm and the chair can safely hold up to 800lbs.

The chair itself cost $119.99. Considerably more than other folding chairs. This wasn't really an issue though as most other chairs only hold up to 250 pounds or so. Ground shipping was an extra $19. So around $140 total for the chair. Again, I felt it was well worth the cost seeing the problems I had finding it in the first place. The chair has a removable headrest and removable foot rest. The foot rest was attached when the chair arrived. I had to use a pliers to get the butterfly nuts off of it because they were on ultra tight, a Minor inconvenience.  For the most part, I like the chair. It is huge, and fits me very comfortably. I have big legs and need lots of room for my thighs and knees. This chair gives me that.

However, the back right corner of the chair busted the last time I used it, about 3 months of light use after getting it. I was getting up and the eyelet for the frame pole ripped from the material of the seat. Now, had I paid $30 for this chair. I wouldn't have any problem with that. But, I paid $140 to get this thing and three months later it rips. I give this chair a thumbs down. If you are looking for a heavy duty folding chair for camping, sporting events or any other purpose. Sorry to say, I suggest looking for something other than the Maxx Daddy chair.
