close enough, but not perfect August 1, 2008
Stepping on this scale repeatedly will give you readings that fluctuate by about 1-2%. So, if you weigh 200 lbs it will read between 198-202

Excellent Product July 29, 2008
This scale worked disappointingly well. It told me I had gained 12 pounds since I last had a scale I could read from a standing position. I can read this one without my glasses. I got a calibrating weight to confirm the bad news. Yes, it had been accurate. It's hard to fall off this scale in shock, because of the comfortably wide platform. It also tells you what you weighed yesterday, in case you're a glutton for punishment.

Finally a reliable scale July 16, 2008
I have had this scale for several months. My previous scale seemed to vary as much as 5-7 lbs from the Doctor's office scale and would also reflect dramatic weight changes daily (even though I would weigh myself at the same time each day). This scale has proven to be more reliable and consistent It has memory sets for displaying previous weighing for 4 or 5 individual users. This is somewhat nice but one has to trigger his individual memorized weighing by pushing a numbered button at the base of the scale with his toe which is somewhat of an encumbrance - but I'm not sure there is any better way of handling this multiple user feature. All in all, I am well pleased with the scale and believe it is worth its relatively higher price.

Very happy with my new scale! May 24, 2008
I was a bit put off by the price of this scale, but now that I have it and been using it, it's worth the money. It's very accurate and not at all temperamental. I could tell right away that it's a quality scale. If you have a little bit extra to spend, I highly recommend this scale.
