Great for the average person May 25, 2008

Both my husband and I have used the HBF-306 and it is pretty accurate for both of us. Neither of us fits into the "not covered" ranges, so it works well for us. I've had weight loss surgery, so one of my big fears is losing more muscle than fat... the HBF-306 helps me see whether I need to increase my protein or exercise because I'm starting to lose muscle instead of fat. My body comp was calculated at the hospital by caliper and immersion, and the HBF-306 registers me within .5% of both of those calculations.

I'd recommend this for anyone who is trying to lose weight/fat or build up a bit more muscle. But if you're a serious athlete, or otherwise don't fit into it's measuring capacity (pregnant, over 60, suffering from chronic swelling, etc), it probably won't be accurate enough to help you much.

As hard as I have tried i have been unable to receive the correct product. I ordered the body fat analyzer and was sent the body fat loss product. I need help to get the correct product. Help me Please!!!

I'm pleased with this unit, first tried it at a community health fair. What impresses me most is its consistency. Whether or not it gives dead-on accuracy or not it does give consistent readings. I have used skin fold calipers, bodyfat scales in the past. This is a good fitness tool.

I love the Omron Body Fat Analyzer. I use it all the time for myself, as well as for my clients. It provides a fast and fairly accurate way to gauge body fat. It's easy to use. Highly recommended!

I've used many BFA/BFM's this is my personal favorite...very consistant great price, easy to use.
