Customer Reviews: Read 3 more reviews... No BS. This is wonderful! May 31, 2008 Many of these healthy food bars taste like cardboard, but not this one. This Chocolate Peanut Butter product is fantastic! The bad news first (if you call this bad): One bar is 180 calories and 50 of the calories are from fat. Now, the good news: This bar not only tastes good (I mean really good), but it is loaded with good stuff. It tastes somewhat like a Reese Cup, with the chocolate covering on a peanut butter snack. They make a nice breakfast with some fruit and coffee or an afternoon snack. I also have been sharing them with friends. Everyone is pleasantly surprised at how tasty they are. Even my son likes them, and he is awful picky. (Uh oh. There goes my supply. Let's see. Where can I hide them.) June 24, 2008 update: I have to tell you this. I drove down to Charleston and had one of these bars stuffed in my purse for about a week before. It was all squished so I threw it in the glove box of the car, where it sat in the heat for 6 days at temps of 89 to 96 degrees. I was riding back to my hotel today and had about an hour to go. I was starving, so I pulled out this squashed, limp, melty bar and ate it. Guess what? It was STILL absolutely delicious! NO BULL! South Beach Meal replacement bars are fantastic... January 12, 2008 Lots of protein and fiber without a ton of net carbs (mostly sugar alcohols) make these perfect for low-glycemic and low-carb diets. Good mix of vitamin supplements as well. The Chocolate-Peanut Butter flavor is the best, followed by the Chocolate. I should add these are some of the best tasting meal replacement bars made. Tasty Treat December 1, 2007 I found these to be very tasty. Unfortunately they were ordered for my wife (who is on the South Beach diet) but she cannot eat them. She is allergic to soy which is the main ingredient. It would have been helpful if the basic ingredients had been listed Great Bar in Great Price September 10, 2007 The bar taste like candy bar. Great breakfast bars July 20, 2007 These bars are great with coffee for breakfast. Low in calories and carbs and lots of protein and other good stuff. Taste and texture a bit like a rice crispy treat.
