Second weigh-in for 2008

Well, my second weigh in for the year has arrived and I am 7 days in to my new start. I have been making some better food choices starting with my breakfast. I have been trying to limit my breakfast to only fruit again. I have been going light on my lunches as well. I am still working on my portion control at dinner time. But, it is getting better. One thing I need to start doing again is tracking my food. I slacked a great deal with that and it does make a big difference not knowing exactly how many calories I consume on a daily basis.

Today’s weigh-in wasn’t as good as I would had hoped for it to be and it is probably mostly due to the size of portions at dinner time. Back to the calorie king web site I go to start keeping my daily food logs. My weight today on my home scale is 366.6. Last week was 367 and the week before was 370. (My weekly weigh-in weight for last week is slightly lower than my weight form my DR. visit on Wednesday mostly because of the fact that I was wearing shoes at the DR. appointment and the offset in scales.) In any case, I’m happy with the slight loss I did have from last week. I feel better than I was feeling and I am looking forward to the next few weeks of getting back into the downward momentum. I figure that I should be seeing some bigger drops if I can get my dinners under control and maintain my daily walks. After having some time off, my metabolism needs a kick start to get rolling again. So here I am kicking it!
